Operations Manager (Posted March 1, 2018)

Are you a highly organized multi-tasker who feels that no task is too large or too small? Are you a self-starter who does not require much oversight, but also feels comfortable asking questions when needed? We’re seeking an Operations Manager for our 25-employee company. This is a new position that will report directly to the CEO. Your responsibilities would be an eclectic mix where the overarching theme is that you will happily do whatever it takes to keep the office running smoothly and to move tasks off senior managements’ plates – from reviewing contracts to onboarding new employees to planning the annual holiday party.

Professional Data Analysts, Inc.     • Financial forecasting
    • Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies, including accounts payable functions to ensure adherence to company guidelines
    • Provide accounting assistance to project leads
    • Prepare and recommend operating budgets for approval
  • Business Development (10%)
    • Research business opportunities
    • Write proposals
    • Direct marketing initiatives


  • Master's degree or four to ten years related experience and/or training
  • Three or more years’ experience managing operations for a small business
  • Highly organized and disciplined
  • Comfort with staff communication and management including hiring, policy enforcement, discipline, and termination
  • Ability to understand, analyze, and identify improvements to process workflows
  • Strong writing skills, particularly for process documentation and employee communication
